The texture is just...you know..off. But today I present to you a delicious tasting mug cake that is sure to please your taste buds. I used Betty Crocker's "coconut pecan" frosting. This is what basically gave this cake the coconut and pecan part of the recipe. But if you want you could add chopped up pecans/shredded coconut or both if you want the real deal. But this is the simplest version.                          📜🍳Cooking tips part #2🍳📜                  So this week I'm going to tell you about another 5 cooking tips that will make cooking delicious meals easier! #1: You should store spices in a cool, dark place, not above your stove. Humidity, light, and heat will cause herbs and spices to  lose their flavor. #2: To give poultry its best flavor you should brine it ( basically letting the meat sit in water with dissovled salt. ) This lets the meat absorb extra liquid and salt making a juicier and more flavorful final dish. #3:  If you see that you need more oil in the pan when sautéing you should add it in a stream along the edges of the pan so when it  reaches the ingredient being cooked, it will be heated. #4:    When you deep-fry food you should hold each piece of food with long tongs when y ou add it to the oil...

📜🍲Cooking tips that will change your life part #3🍲📜       So... I promise this is the last post of only cooking tips ( pinkie promise ). Of course... there will be more cooking tips, but you know, along with the actual recipes. When you’re going to sauté garlic, you should slice it instead of mincing it — it's less likely to burn when you do that. Always use sharp knifes. Its a safer and more efficient way of cutting things. ( When storing knifes...for safety... put a wine cork on the tip.) Always try to have a roll of parchment paper on hand. It makes taking out cookies or cake or brownies etc. sooo much easier. And then cleaning is so much easier too! 😄😃 You should always measure when baking. Too much flour can make your desert too doughy and too little will make it too watery.
