๐ŸŽ‚☕Coconut Turtle Brownie Cake in a Mug!!!!☕๐ŸŽ‚So if you've ever tried to make a mug cake...it probably didn't turn out how you wanted it...its happened to me at least. The texture is just...you know..off. But today I present to you a delicious tasting mug cake that is sure to please your taste buds. I used Betty Crocker's "coconut pecan" frosting. This is what basically gave this cake the coconut and pecan part of the recipe. But if you want you could add chopped up pecans/shredded coconut or both if you want the real deal. But this is the simplest version. The recipe is...
1/4 cup flour2 tablespoons cocoa powder1/4 teaspoon baking powder3 to 4 tablespoons sugar (depending on your taste)A pinch or 1/8 teaspoon salt1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon of milk2 tablespoon vegetable oil or butter1/2 teaspoon caramel extractThen if you want to go all out you can add... 2 tablespoons of pecans2 tablespoons of shredded coconut1 tablespoon of thick caramelThe directions are... #1: First…

Cooking tips that will change your life part #3!!!

๐Ÿ“œ๐ŸฒCooking tips that will change your life part #3๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿ“œ      So... I promise this is the last post of only cooking tips ( pinkie promise ). Of course... there will be more cooking tips, but you know, along with the actual recipes.

When you’re going to sautรฉ garlic, you should slice it instead of mincing it — it's less likely to burn when you do that.Always use sharp knifes. Its a safer and more efficient way of cutting things. ( When storing knifes...for safety... put a wine cork on the tip.)Always try to have a roll of parchment paper on hand. It makes taking out cookies or cake or brownies etc. sooo much easier. And then cleaning is so much easier too! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜ƒYou should always measure when baking. Too much flour can make your desert too doughy and too little will make it too watery. So just try to be as precise as you can. ๐Ÿ‘To make the lifespan of vegetables longer wrap them loosely in a damp paper towel and then put that in a resealable plastic bag.Welp, that's it for today. S…

Cooking tips that will change your life part #2!!!!

               ๐Ÿ“œ๐ŸณCooking tips part #2๐Ÿณ๐Ÿ“œ
So this week I'm going to tell you about another 5 cooking tips that will make cooking delicious meals easier!
#1: You should store spices in a cool, dark place, not above your stove. Humidity, light, and heat will cause herbs and spices to  lose their flavor.#2: To give poultry its best flavor you should brine it ( basically letting the meat sit in water with dissovled salt. ) This lets the meat absorb extra liquid and salt making a juicier and more flavorful final dish.#3:  If you see that you need more oil in the pan when sautรฉing you should add it in a stream along the edges of the pan so when it  reaches the ingredient being cooked, it will be heated.#4: When you deep-fry food you should hold each piece of food with long tongs when you add it to the oil. If you  hold it just below the oil's surface for five seconds before releasing it will seal the exterior and stop it from sticking to the pot or the other food.#5: When…

            ๐Ÿช The best accidental foods!๐Ÿช
"Everybody makes mistakes, everybody has those days..." Mistakes have a pretty important effect on the world. Especially with food. Lets look at my list of the top 5 accidental foods created. Here we go!

#1 Chocolate chip cookies: Ruth Wakefield was trying to bake chocolate cookies for guests coming to her home but she ran out out of her baker's chocolate. So she threw in broken up pieces of some semi-sweet chocolate thinking it would melt into the batter and make them brown all over, but it stayed its shape and chocolate chip cookies were born!

#2 Potato chips: Once upon a time there was a chef named George Crum. He worked at a restaurant called Moon Lake Lodge. On this certain day there was a certain picky customer ( But we are glad he was ๐Ÿ˜ƒ ). This picky customer wanted fries but the first batch of fries with his meal were too thick, so he sent them back. The second batch of fries that George Crum made were also too thick f…

People who influenced the way we eat today!!

๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŒPeople who changed the world of food for the better!!!๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿ‘

From eating raw meat to gourmet "Douche Burgers" wrapped in gold leafs, the world of food has certainly advanced since the beginning of time. Well, first lets talk about the guy who decided to put meat in a fire or the guy who found it cooked already ( he could have found an animal after a wildfire cooked on the ground ). Let's just be glad they decided to take it back to their "tribe" so they could try it and find a new way of  eating meat, which led to hundreds of different recipes. Next, lets thank the creator of forks or spoons, whichever you think is more important. The inventor of the fork was Ancient Greece ( during the time of the Eastern Roman Empire ). The creator of the spoon was Ancient Egypt. They used it for religious purposes, but thankfully we found that it was also useful for eating and it has advanced greatly throughout the years. From being made from animal skins and bones i…
